The Student Body President represents the interests and perspectives of the undergraduate student body to the staff, faculty, administration, and other educational/political leaders at Villanova and/or outside organizations as needed.

The Executive Vice President actively works to assist the Student Body while completing the duties of the executive branch, the office of the Executive, and the will of the SGA Senate.

McKenzie Ohene

Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ensures that students are represented within SGA. They will work with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Office of Intercultural Affairs, the Office of Disability Services, and the advisors of VU Pride, ACT, and other intercultural groups in developing and promoting programs and initiates to improve the quality of life for all students.

Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff is in the Department of Executive Administration, the internal communication of SGA between all branches. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the office.

The Director of Public Relations oversee the Department of Public Relations which is responsible for all external communication relating to SGA, including but not limited to social media, website design, public statements, publications, event promotions, and media relations.

Ataya Jenkins & Sheena Cao

Director of Finance

The Director of Finance oversees all financial transactions and processes of the Student Government Association and reports regularly to the Executive Board on the status of the Student Government Association budget. At the beginning of the academic year (August), the Director shall write the SGA budget with the Director of Student Involvement and present it for 2/3rds approval to the Senate. In addition, the Director of Finance will present to the Senate at the end of each term on the financial affairs of SGA and shall allocate funds in conjunction with the Student Body President on initiatives brought forth by the Senate. The Director will represent the Executive Board and the SGA President in meetings with administrators, faculty, staff, and other persons within the university.

Megan Lawn

Director of Programming

Oversees the Department of Programming and directs the ideation, planning, development, and execution of events and community building initiatives that SGA solely hosts, sponsors internally or externally, or co-hosts both on campus and in the community at-large. The Director of Programming is also responsible for the oversight of the Nova Nights Committee and other event-related duties in coordination with the Office of Student Involvement, Campus Activities Team, other interested parties, and seeking new and impactful events that SGA can pursue.

Katie Hannon

Director of Human Resources

Oversees the Department of Human Resources and maintains a platform for undergraduate students of Villanova University to register complaints against any elected or appointed official of SGA who is in possible violation of their office and direct such complaints to the member’s Branch Leader. The Director of Human Resources can sanction and impeach members who have been found “responsible” for breaches of their office.

Director of External Relations

The Director of External Relations is in the Department of Executive Administration. The Director of External Relations has the responsibility of speaking on the behalf of the President/VP when they cannot be present. They will also coordinate with SGA members, other colleges, and the appropriate administrators in order to complete their projects.
